Kre8tive Kid's mission is to train, develop, and equip kids and youth with the character skills and tools needed for them to be leaders in their families, schools, communities and their circle of influence.

The kids that participate in Kre8tive Kids programs not only learn about character education and leadership, but they are also given opportunities throughout the year to participate in community outreach events that are initiated by the Kre8tive Kid's Leadership Team.  These events allow kids and their families to demonstrate their commitment to giving back to the community.

Thanksgiving Outreach

Through the efforts of participating families, Kre8tive Kids donated over 30 Thanksgiving Food Boxes to needy families within the Child Crisis Family Resource Center.  The Thanksgiving Food Boxes included items such a stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, green beens, yams, rice, soup, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit and various snacks.

For Christmas, Kre8tive Kids partnered with various organizations as well as families associated with Kre8tive Kids to collect over 200 Hygiene Bags for needy families that are supported through the efforts of the Kyrene Schools Community Foundation.  The Hygiene Bags included items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, bar soap, deoderant, shampoo and conditioner.

For Christmas, Kre8tive Kids partnered with a local Tempe Post Office to purchase over 20 Angel Tree gifts for needy kids within the Child Crisis Family Resource Center.  Gifts were bought for kids ranging in ages from 18 months old to teenagers.  A few of the kids did not even request toys for Christmas, but rather a simple request of "warm clothes".  It's coming into contact with situations like this that should cause us to be thankful for what we have.

During the Spring, Kre8tive Kids held it's 2nd Annual Kids Sports Fundraiser.  All of the proceeds were donated to the Kyrene Schools Community Foundation to support the efforts in providing needed resources to families within the Kyrene Schools.  The boys and girls that came out to participate in the 4 hour event, played various sports including basketball, kickball, soccer, flag football drills and field hockey drills.  Visit our gallery to see the video and pictures from the event.
